We're looking for a small group of testers to try early builds on iPhone and iPad. It's free, it takes about five minutes to set up, and you can leave any time.

Five minutes, start to finish.

Enter your email and tick the apps you'd like to test. Use the address attached to your Apple ID — that's where Apple sends the invite, and an invite sent anywhere else can't be opened.

We send you an invite

You'll get an email from TestFlight with a Start Testing button. Beta slots are limited, so we add testers in small batches — if a build isn't ready yet, we'll hold your spot and email you when it is.

Install TestFlight

TestFlight is Apple's free app for running beta software. Install it from the App Store before you tap the invite, so the invite opens straight into it.

Accept and install the beta

Open the invite on your iPhone or iPad, tap Start Testing, and the beta installs like any other app. New builds show up in TestFlight automatically.

Tell us what you think

Screenshot anything odd and tap Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight, or just reply to our email. Crashes, rough edges, confusing bits, wild ideas — all of it is useful.

Tell us what you'd like to test.

TestFlight invites can only be opened by the Apple ID that owns the address, so use that one.

Which apps would you like to test?

Pick as many as you like.

Get TestFlight ready.

Install TestFlight

Betas only install through TestFlight, so it's worth having it on your phone before your invite lands. It's free, it's made by Apple, and it lives alongside the App Store.

Get TestFlight

Already on your phone? You're all set — nothing else to do until the invite arrives.

The bits people usually ask.

Does it cost anything?

No. Betas are free and we'll never ask you for payment details.

Which devices do I need?

An iPhone or iPad on a recent version of iOS or iPadOS. Everything we make is iOS-only right now — there's no Android or web beta.

Why do you need my Apple ID email?

Apple sends the TestFlight invite to one specific address, and only the Apple ID that owns that address can redeem it. Sign up with a different email and the invite simply won't open.

How long will I wait?

It depends on the app. Root Word and CallSign Check ship updates regularly, so those invites go out often. WC INKs and Blob Tennis invite testers as each one reaches a build worth playing. Either way, you'll hear from us.

How much time does this take?

As little as you like. Use the app the way you normally would and tell us when something feels wrong. No minimum, no schedule, no quiz.

Will a beta break my phone?

No. TestFlight builds are sandboxed like any other app, and where an App Store version already exists the beta installs alongside it. Betas can crash or behave oddly — that's rather the point — and you can delete one at any time.

Can I stop?

Any time. Delete the beta, or reply "stop" to any email from us and we'll take your address off the list.

What happens to my email address?

It sits in our inbox and in TestFlight's tester list. That's it — no newsletter, no ad networks, nothing sold on. Ask us to delete it and we will.
